Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for 'Execution-Style' Killing

A 29-year-old Kenosha, Wis., man found guilty of shooting and killing a Round Lake Park woman "execution-style"during a robbery six years ago at a Check N' Go in Waukegan was sentenced this past week to life in prison, according to the Daily Herald. 

Montego Suggs was sentenced to 80 years in prison for killing Melinda Morrell, 22, who was working as a clerk at the Check N' Go, during the robbery on May 21, 2007, according to the Daily Herald.

The Daily Herald reports he was also sentenced to an additional 30 years in prison for trying to kill a clerk at a grocery store in Beach Park and years for trying to rob the business. Those sentences will be served concurrently, according to the article.
