Quarterback Joey Wessman added two rushing touchdowns, including the game-winner in the final minute, keeping Lake Zurich unbeaten in North Suburban Conference play despite four turnovers. 
• Wheeling Approves Special-Use Permits For 4 New Businesses (journal-topics.com) — A familiar name for local dancers, JYZ Dance, is moving from Lake Zurich to a new studio on Lake Cook Road in Wheeling after village officials approved its special-use permit. The same meeting cleared the way for a new Indian restaurant, a skin care training school, and a truck repair facility, signaling more business activity just down the road from Lake Zurich.
