Police Blotter: Computer Tampering; Theft
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from Sept. 12-16.

Computer Tampering
An individual reported Sept. 12 that someone unlawfully accessed the database for their business located on the 500 block of Telser Road and caused damage to the system. The loss was estimated at $5,000. Police are investigating.

Retail Theft
An individual reported Sept. 12 that a female subject left their business on the 500 block of South Rand Road without paying for items. While the offender fled the area before police arrived, a suspect has since been identified. Police are investigating.

Theft
A man reported Sept. 14 that someone stole his wallet and cellular phone while he was on the 500 block of Oakwood Road. The loss was estimated at $500. Police are investigating.
