The McHenry County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 22-year-old Round Lake Beach man for a burglary that happened in Spring Grove last week.
Michael A. Gillespie is charged with burglary in connection with a reported burglary that occurred in the 6400 block of Blaine in unincorporated Spring Grove Illinois for the burglary report at 5:20 p.m on Nov. 14, according to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office news release.
The victims stated when they arrived home they noticed the back door to their residence kicked in and the suspect leaving quickly from within the residence, according to the news release.

Deputies gathered a description of the suspect and information from security cameras. A Sheriff’s K9 unit responded and performed a track, which led deputies to a nearby residence.
Deputies located Gillespie, who they say matched the description provided by witnesses. Gillespie was taken into custody and transported to the McHenry County Correctional Facility, according to the news release.

Gillespie was recently released on bond, according to the sheriff's office website.
