Save the Date: Township Day is Thursday, September 21!

Ela Township invites you to celebrate its second annual Township Day on Thursday, Sept 21.

Join us for family-friendly festivities from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Knox Park in Lake Zurich, located next to the Ela Town Hall at 1155 E. Route 22.

Enjoy free grilled hot dogs and treats at our community cookout along with music, wagon rides, children’s games and entertainment, a highway department truck display, blood drive and more. We’re even going to attempt the township’s biggest performance of the “Cha Cha Slide!”

Visit the information booths of our community partners and nonprofit organizations to learn more about their programs, services and resources.

Bring a non-perishable food item to help fill our highway department truck for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. For each donation, you’ll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a flatscreen TV!
