.Join us in this ever-popular class with seining expert, Tom Vanderpoel. We will meet at CFC, drive to a local site, and use seining nets to see what is in the water. Catch native fish and invertebrates in area creeks and learn the diversity of water creatures to be found.
Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Please dress according to the weather. Water shoes/boots or closed-toe shoes are required. Bring your own drinking water and use mosquito spray at home.
This class is open to children ages 6 and older. Non-members pay $5.00 for the first child and $1.00 for each additional child. Caregivers are required to attend. Class size is limited to 20 children, so please register early! Registration forms are due by June 10. CFC Headquarters is located at 459 West Highway 22, Barrington. .
