U.S. 12 Resurfacing in Lake Zurich Begins This Week
Look for work to start on Oct. 2 — along with delays.

Resurfacing of U.S. 12 (Rand Road) between Lake Cook and Ela roads, in Lake Zurich, will begin, weather permitting, on Thursday, Oct. 2, according to IDOT.
The project consists of pavement patching, milling, resurfacing and pavement marking. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with flaggers at various locations in the work zone. The anticipated completion date is June 15.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
