Village Of Lake Zurich: Unplugged Fest On August 1

Junior Miss Lake Zurich Alexis Alt announces that the first-ever Unplugged Fest will be held at Lake Zurich's Paulus Park on August 1, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This event was created based upon Alexis’ platform of inspiring people to unplug from their devices and reconnect with each other and the community.

This free event will be held rain or shine, and all are welcome to attend. Each participating organization will host a station surrounding Shelter A and B at the park, giving attendees many opportunities to try new, device-free activities and learn more about local businesses and community groups. Families are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy an “unplugged” afternoon outside.  

In addition to the many activity stations, some organizations will host scheduled demonstrations throughout the day. Music will be provided by 4 Sure Entertainment.
