Suburban Young Professionals Board to benefit Special Olympics Illinois

The Special Olympics Illinois Young Professionals Board (YPB) supports the overall mission and programs of Special Olympics Illinois. YPB members are entreprenerurial, ambitious, individualks dedicated to advancing the efforts of Special Olympics Illinois through volunteering, fundraising, networking, and community engagement opportunities.
The YPB will work to help fundraise for various events throughout the year which include: Special Olympics Illinois Area 18 Corks for a Cause Wine Tasting Event and Special Olympics Illinois Area 13 Holiday Dinner Event. Both events are designed to increase awareness of the mission statement of Special Olympics Illinois.

Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in 19 sports for nearly 22,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and nearly 21,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities.
