Zion Man Killed, Woman in Critical Condition in Mundelein Crash

A 34-year-old Zion man is dead and a 36-year-old Zion woman in critical condition following a two-car crash in Mundelein Sunday evening, according to the Daily Herald. 

Eric O'Campo, 34, was driving out of a shopping center while turning east on Townline Road, just east of Route 45, at 5:20 p.m. and was hit by a BMW, which was driven by Russell Sternal, 24, of Mundelein, according to the article. 

The Daily Herald reports a passenger in O'Campo's vehicle, Irma Martinez of Zion, was taken to Advocate Medical Center where she was in critical condition.
