Join the Illinois Woman’s Press Association for a free community workshop featuring expert-led sessions on AI tools, play production, and personal creative growth. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, network with fellow writers and digital creators, and even sign up to share their own poetry or spoken word during the event.
Designed for new and seasoned writers, authors, publishers, digital media creators and others interested in expanding their creative skills, the workshop will explore AI Integration for Writing, Publishing, Websites and Other Uses, along with an Informative Motivational Workshop and Play Production 101.
The program will feature four presenters offering information and practical ideas in their areas of expertise.
Janice Newman, IWPA President and author, will discuss the use of artificial intelligence in writing and publishing a book, including ways writers can incorporate AI tools into the creative and publishing process.
Victor Gulley will explore AI for websites, apps and other uses, providing attendees with ideas for using developing technology in creative and digital projects.
Shaunita Akintonde will present an informative motivational workshop designed to encourage attendees in their personal and professional creative journeys.
Benaiah Link will present Play Production 101, offering insight into the process of taking a theatrical idea from the page toward production.
