111 Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In Lemont Area: IDPH
The number of Lemont's coronavirus cases increased by 17 cases over the past two weeks.
LEMONT, IL — The number of Lemont's coronavirus cases increased by 17 cases over the past two weeks, according to data from the Illinois Department of Public Health. Lemont (ZIP code 60439) has had 111 cases of coronavirus reported as of June 26, compared to 94 cases on June 12.
Lemont does have two nursing home facilities which have reported cases, which could contribute to the total case count for the village. Both Franciscan Village and Lemont Center have reported cases of the coronavirus.

As the state and Lemont move into phase 4, restaurants and bars are now offering indoor dining. Many services and agencies are also reopening, including the Lemont Park District CORE facility, which is opening July 1.
IDPH is also reporting a total of 1,763 tests have been performed for ZIP code 60439. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner, there have also been six coronavirus related deaths in Lemont since March 16. The deaths included one woman in her 50s, one woman in her 60s, one woman in her 70s, one man in his 60s, one man in his 70s and one woman in her 80s. The most recent death was reported on June 17.

There is no available information regarding the number of patients who have recovered per town.
As of Friday, Illinois' coronavirus case count was 140,291 and the coronavirus has claimed the lives of 6,847 Illinois residents. In suburban Cook County, there are 34,937 cases of the coronavirus and 1,643 related deaths.
