The electoral board—made up of Mayor Brian Reaves, Trustee Jeanette Virgilio and Clerk Charlene Smollen—met Jan. 12 to hear from both sides of the conflict.

They will convene again Thursday at 7 p.m. in the board room to issue their ruling. If in agreement with Stapleton, Ligthart and Cliff would be removed from the ballot.
