Meal Help Sought for Lemont's Turner Family
Volunteers have created a meal plan for the family that lost its 17-year-old daughter Sept. 2, and several more meals are needed.
A community member has arranged a meal program for the family of Lexi Turner, a 17-year-old who died in a tragic accident at age 17 on September 2.
The family must relocate due to their current home’s proximity to where the accident occurred. Lexi’s mother, Amy, and two sisters, Madison and Morgan, are currently living with relatives while they determine where they will move. Meal plan organizer Amy Scoville hopes providing meals for the family can ease their burden.
“They are overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and support shown to them during this difficult time,” Scoville said. “Not having to worry about meals for the next few weeks will help tremendously.”

Scoville is seeking eight additional meals to fill out the remaining days of the plan. Any meals are welcome, and should be able to feed three adults and two children. Family members have no allergies, and take-out is also welcome. If you can help, click here for more information.
