Services Set for Lemont Man Fatally Struck by Freight Train
Kevin Collins died Thursday, May 14.
Funeral arrangements have been set for a Lemont man killed by a freight train Thursday morning.
Services for Kevin Collins, 25, will be held Saturday, May 16. A viewing will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 83rd and St. Louis in Chicago. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m.
Collins was fatally struck Thursday around midnight, while trying to cross the tracks in downtown Lemont. Police have preliminarily ruled his death an accident.
