Western Springs Police Participate In Labor Day Campaign

Patrol officers will be increasing visible traffic enforcement focusing on both impaired driving and unbuckled motorists in Western Springs.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department will be participating and joining hundreds of law enforcement agencies in a statewide Labor Day “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” enforcement campaign. According to the department, state and local law enforcement will be making a special effort leading up to and throughout the Labor Day holiday weekend to protect from drunk drivers.

The department said patrol officers will be increasing visible traffic enforcement focusing on both impaired driving and unbuckled motorists in Western Springs especially during the late night hours.

The Western Springs Police would like to remind the public to designate a sober driver and to buckle up –
that is always your best defense against an impaired driver. Police advise to please be responsible while celebrating this Labor Day holiday.
