Man Accused Of Battering Family Member: Libertyville Police

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — The Libertyville Police Department said Libertyville officers were called to the 400 block of S. 4th Street at 10:04 p.m., Sept. 24 for a reported domestic battery. According to police, officers arrived to the address and met 36-year-old Michael G. Dunn, who officers learned during an investigation was accused of battering a family member. Dunn was arrested and taken to the Libertyville Police Department, according to a release from the department.

The Lake County State's Attorney's Office Felony Review Division reviewed the incident and an assistant state's attorney approved two counts of domestic battery against Dunn.

Dunn was taken to the Lake County Jail to await a bond hearing, police said.
