Mundelein School of Dance Wraps Up 2026 Competition Season with Top Awards
Dancers earn first-place finishes, Platinum and High Gold adjudications and special honors at Talent on Parade and Hall of Fame competitions
MUNDELEIN, IL— Mundelein School of Dance wrapped up its 2026 competition season with strong performances at two regional events, the Talent on Parade competition held April 24 to 26 at the Genesee Theatre and the Hall of Fame competition held May 2 to 3 at the Schaumburg Convention Center.
At Talent on Parade, 21 dancers competed in solo, duet and trio categories against studios from across Illinois and Michigan, earning multiple top placements and high adjudication scores.
Chloe Kramer, Lily Lopez, and Addison Ross each earned first-place finishes, with Kramer and Lopez also receiving “Top Star” invitations to Nationals. Additional highlights included second-place finishes and special judges’ awards for Yana Ostrovskiy and Evelyn Marhoefer, along with several top-placing duet performances and multiple Diamond and High Diamond adjudications, according to a news release.

The season concluded at Hall of Fame, where 63 Mundelein School of Dance performers competed. The Senior Company routine “Only the Horses” earned first place, a High Gold adjudication, and the “Fabulous Feet” Judge’s Award. Group and musical theater performances also received multiple High Gold ratings and special recognition, including Showmanship awards for “Express Yourself” and “You Can’t Stop the Beat.”
In solo and duet competition, Erin Page earned a second-place Platinum finish. Additional Platinum awards went to Evelyn Marhoefer, Ariella Zvyagintsev, and Isabella Clark. Molly Heuser and Maren Curran received a Showmanship Award for their duet “Breakaway.” Other notable placements included Lily Lopez (third place) and Ireena Tsybulsky and Angelina Moncada, who earned third place along with a Choreography Award.

“Our dancers demonstrated incredible commitment, teamwork, and passion throughout the entire season,” said Kelly Clifton, dance coordinator. “We are so proud of their growth and the way they represented Mundelein School of Dance on and off the stage.”
