• Libertyville's Parker McConnell bounces back from 'dreaded 3-putt' to win conference title in playoff (chicagotribune.com) — Libertyville High School senior Parker McConnell shook off a late three-putt to win the North Suburban Conference individual golf title in a two-hole playoff, leading the Wildcats to the team championship as well. Fellow Libertyville senior Austin Scott also contended for the crown, helping secure a strong 292 team score that topped Lake Forest and Stevenson at Thunderhawk Golf Club.
