Lisle Data Center Application Withdrawn By Developer
Developers have withdrawn their application to build a data center at 711 Ogden Ave. in Lisle.

LISLE, IL — Just two months after Lisle residents overflowed a public hearing for a data center on Ogden Avenue, the data center's developers have withdrawn their application.
Cloud Centers, LLC, had proposed a 256,000 square foot, 50-megawatt co-location datacenter for 711 Ogden Ave. The development would have required a special use permit and a number of zoning variations.
The decision was announced Wednesday on the Village of Lisle website.

The announcement reads, "The developer has notified the village that they elected to withdraw their application for a proposed data center at 711 Ogden Ave. Village officials and staff continue to explore additional opportunities for future redevelopment of the site."
The site has been vacant since the early 2000s, when The Lockformer Company closed its doors.
