Lisle Seeks Resident Input For Updated Bike, Pedestrian Plan

The village is interested in knowing how often you bike, your preferred local destinations and walking or biking challenges you face.​

LISLE, IL—Lisle officials have been working in partnership with the Active Transportation Alliance to update the village's 2008 Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan, and is seeking resident input. The village is interested in knowing how often you bike, your preferred local destinations and walking or biking challenges you face.

According to village officials, the newly updated plan will provide recommendations for the continued improvements to biking, walking and transit in the village. This will be accomplished in a way that accommodates the needs of all ages and ability levels, village officials said.

The nine-month planning process began with the launch of a survey and online map tool and included a robust program of activities aimed at gaining resident input on barriers to bicycling and walking, improving connectivity to the robust regional trail system and identifying key destinations that residents want to reach by bicycle or on foot.
