Body Found In Burning Car At Morton Arboretum Had Signs Of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Coroner
A deceased person found in a burning car Wednesday at Morton Arboretum likely succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning, the coroner said.

LISLE, IL — The DuPage County Coroner's Office believes carbon monoxide poisoning was to blame for the death of a person found in a burning car at Morton Arboretum Wednesday. The victim still has not been identified and police are searching for answers as to how and why the car ended up in flames in a remote parking lot of the arboretum.
Around 1 p.m. Wednesday, DuPage County Sheriff's Police responded to a report of a car on fire in an otherwise empty parking lot at Morton Arboretum in the 4100 block of IL-53 in Lisle. Authorities discovered human remains in the burned-out vehicle and began an ongoing investigation to identify the body and determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
