District 159 Seeks Galaxy Award Nominations
The program recognizes the accomplishments or contributions of district employees, students, parents, community members and organizations.
MOKENA, IL — Mokena School District 159 is once again looking for nominations for its Galaxy Award program. According to the district, the program recognizes the accomplishments or contributions of District 159 employees, students, parents, community members and community organizations.
The program is a partnership with the Mokena Educational Foundation and the Mokena Parent Teacher Association.
The district said the board of education president, superintendent, communications liaison and previous award winners cannot be nominated.

You can nominate someone online. The deadline to submit a nomination is March 13.
