Bodø, Norway Cathedral Choir performs live at St. Olaf Lutheran Church

Sons of Norway, Polar Star Lodge 5-472 is proud to host a live performance of the Bodø Cathedral Choir from Northern Norway on June 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church on Douglas Road, Montgomery.   The Bodø Cathedral Choir was founded in 1954 and is touring the United States as part of their 60th anniversary celebration.   They will be performing choral pieces written for the church as well as traditional Norwegian folk music from Northern Norway. The Principal Conductor for Bodø Cathedral Choir is Øystein Jæger who graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music and Norwegian University of Science and Technology.  He hold Master of Music degrees in organ performance and orchestral conducting.  Tickets are not required - a free will offering will be taken.
