Springfield-based Illinois Realtors Association and Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity in Montgomery will team up to frame, roof and install siding, windows and doors for a four-bedroom, 1.5 bath house and detached garage between Saturday and Thursday at 1559 Solfisburg Ave. in Aurora.
Rev. Jeff Barrett, Fox Valley Habitat director, said groundbreaking ceremonies will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 12.
Rev. Barrett said 10 IRA officials from Springfield will be on site to lead about 70 suburban realtors in teams of about 15 persons each.

The IRA has donated $80,000 to the Aurora project. the first of three the association plans to sponsor in Illinois during 2014.
Volunteers will include Alma Gonzalez, the future homeowner who is a single mother with two daughters and a son.

On Thursday, a dozen Aurora Police Department volunteers are expected.
The 1559 Solfisburg home will be the first of five houses Habitat plans for the street, calling the group Peter's Place subdivision. Habitat hopes to compete the five homes by 2016.
Founded in 1989, Fox Valley Habitat has completed 50 projects--new construction or rehabs--in Aurora, Montgomery and North Aurora.
A rehab at 512 Webster St. in Aurora is underway with completion scheduled for December.
