Chinese Student Makes it to End of Route 66

After traveling since March, Chinese student Boyi Ouyang, who is studying at Pace University in New York, has finally reached his destination: the end of Route 66.

Boyi Ouyang wanted to see the ”real America” and said he definitely found it. A crowd of people were waiting for him at the end of his journey, including some Chinese friends that took him out for dinner.

“I’m very touched,” he said. ”I’m very appreciative. ...I really saw the real American spirit and a real American’s life.”

Now that he’s finished, he feels relieved that he can rest for a while. At least until he heads to Beijing Thursday, May 14 to see a girl.
