About The Archery Place
The Archery Place is a 10,582 sq. ft. veteran owned archery facility with sales, shop services, and other amenities located in Montgomery, Illinois. The Archery Place is owned by Kevin and Michelle Helwig who have been residents of Montgomery for over 15 years. Kevin has many years of archery experience and certifications in coaching, judging, and technical schooling.
The Archery Place offers classes and camps for ages 8 and up through local park districts, classes for age 5-7 using foam tipped arrows and low draw weight bows, several party and group outing options including recurve, compound and crossbows as well as archery/art and Bow-mageddon (a tag style game).
There is always something FUN happening at The Archery Place but, we have 2 RANGES...so there's always room on the range!
The Archery Place is home to Northern Illinois Archery Organization. A non-profit that Kevin started in 2014 to teach archery in local communities and coach a USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development and Adult Archery Program.
