Jim Carr will present a history of the I&M Canal era and how the canal affects where you live today.
Carr is a member of Canallers in the Corridor, a volunteer group that promotes the story of the I&M Canal era. Group members portray real and composite characters of the 1800s.
Attendees will meet Timothy James Carr, a muleboy, tillersman, captain and locktender on the canal during the 1830s.
