In honor of Veterans Day and the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War, a living history presentation of the war will be given by the village.
Using uniforms, weapons and artifacts, historian and author Robert I. Girardi will describe what soldiers wore, what equipment they used, what food they ate and the medical care they received.
The hands-on, interactive presentation will be offered at no cost. The monthly senior lunch and activity will follow the presentation.
