Five Things To Know About Election Day

Your quick guide to tomorrow's voting, and Montgomery Patch's coverage.

Tomorrow is election day, and we want you to stay right here on Montgomery Patch for all your news and results. So here’s your step-by-step guide to everything you need to know for tomorrow’s election.

1. Polls open at 6 a.m., and they close at 7 p.m. We’ll be out there early (well, relatively early) taking pictures and talking to folks to get a sense of things. Say hi if you see us.

2. There are seven polling places with Montgomery addresses. Two of them—, at 200 N. River St., and the VFW Hall at 121 N. River St.—are in Kane County, while the other five are in Kendall County. They are: Lakewood Creek Clubhouse, 2799 Lakewood Creek Drive; , 163 Boulder Hill Pass; , 0 Boulder Hill Pass; , 63 Fernwood Drive; and , 67 Longbeach Drive. Kane County voters can go here to find their polling place, Kendall County voters can go here. You’ll want to bring a government-issued ID with you to the polls, just in case.

5. Once the polls close at 7 p.m., results will be posted in one handy place on Montgomery Patch’s front page. We’ll follow that up with a story about the Village Board race tomorrow night, and further stories on Wednesday.
