Montgomery to Give Away Mill Street Bridge Flowers

People will need to bring their own containers or bags to transport the flowers.

Repair work on the Mill Street Bridge has been scheduled for August and in preparation for the work, the flowers will be removed from the bridge and will be available for pickup and replanting.

The Beautification Committee will be giving away the petunias from the flower boxes to those who sponsored the flower box program this year and to the general public on August 15. Flower box program participants will be contacted regarding a time for them to pick up flowers. The general public may pick up any flowers that are left over from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on August 15 in front of the Village Hall at 200 N. River Street.
