Montgomery to Hold Concert in the Park

Head on over to Montgomery Park on at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 27 for a free Concert in the Park featuring the popular country band Smokin’ Gunz. The first 100 guests will also get a free cup of ice cream from Colonial Ice Cream.

Smokin’ Gunz offers heart-felt harmony vocal arrangements combined with some real foot tapping dance tunes to provide musical entertainment for all types of audiences regardless of their musical preferences. Smokin’ Gunz was voted number one country band in Chicago by Suburbanites Magazine and the Chicago Rocker Magazine for 2011. Smokin’ Gunz has opened for some of the biggest names in country music, including Tracy Lawrence and Montgomery Gentry.

Just bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening of ice cream and great music. Montgomery Park is located at the corner of River and Mill Street in Montgomery.
