Montgomery Hosts Lifelong Learning Institute on Sept. 9

Even open to adults age 50 and older.

Representatives from Waubonsee Community College willpresent a program about the Lifelong Learning Institute at 10 a.m. Sept. 9, at the Montgomery Village Hall.

The Lifelong Learning Institute is an open membership organization for adults age 50 and older actively engaged in the pursuit of knowledge. Their presentation will focus on advantages of becoming a lifelong learner, the types of classes they offer, fees involved, and upcoming classes and outings.

This program is offered by the Village of Montgomery as part of its Senior Citizen Program. There is no charge and the event is handicap accessible.

The monthly Senior Lunch and activity for ages 55 and up will begin at 11 a.m.after the presentation. There is a $4 charge for the lunch and pre-registration for lunch is require. Bingo will be sponsored by Autumn Leaves.
