Montgomery Water Safe to Drink

The Village of Montgomery wants residents to know that despite the look of the water, it’s safe to drink.

According to a release sent out by the village, an issue arose with air getting into the water system at the village’s well site in the Fairfield Way subdivision.

Homes west of Orchard Road may be affected by it and may experience milky white or rusty water. The village advises to let the water run until it clears.

The water is safe to drink, the release states. There’s just air in it.
