Oswego Junior Woman's Club Donation Drive Benefits Veterans Home
Contact the club or drop off donations now through Nov. 7.

From now until Nov. 7, the Oswego Junior Woman’s Club is hosting a donation drive to benefit the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle.
Wish list items for the home include basic clothing items (socks, underwear, and sweatpants) and a variety of personal care products. Due to space limitations and infection control policies, the home requests that all donated items be new and unused. The full list of needs can be found online at www.facebook.com/OswegoJuniors.
The club kicked off the donation drive at their general meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 22. The drive will continue until Friday, Nov. 7. Public donations can be made in one of two ways – contact the club at oswegojuniors@yahoo.com, or dropoff at the following locations:

The Oswego Junior Woman’s Club (OJWC) is a subsidiary of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). It is one of the world’s largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organizations. The GFWC works locally through over 250 Junior clubs and has approximately 8,000 members in the United States. The GFWC members support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education in various sectors, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement and work toward world peace and understanding
