In addition to their current address, convicted sex offenders and sexual predators are required under Illinois Sex Offender Registry Act to provide any secondary addresses at which they may reside or spend time at, such as a school or university, a relative or friend’s home.

Registrants must also provide their current place of employment, make and model of vehicle, their phone number (including cell phone numbers), their employer’s phone number, school or university, all email addresses, instant message identities, chat room identities, and other Internet identities that the sex offender uses or plans to use.

As a sexual predator, Strickland is required to register as a sex offender in his state of residence for the rest of his life.

Strickland was convicted of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Strickland was 36 at the time of the offense, and his victim was 12, according to state records.
