The new 84th State House District covers half of Montgomery, all of Boulder Hill, the far east side of Aurora and portions of Oswego and Naperville. There is no incumbent.
Three Democrats are fighting it out for the nomination: Aurora flight attendant Alex Arroyo, Naperville attorney Carole Cheney, and Aurora Alderman Stephanie Kifowit. The winner will go on to face Republican Pat Fee in November.
