Due to current forecast predictions calling for additional rainfall over the next four days, the Kendall County Emergency Management Agency has coordinated with the Kendall County Highway Department to make sand and sandbags available for Kendall County residents or businesses to use for flood control measures.
Sand and sandbags may be picked up from behind the Kendall County Highway Department, located at 6780 Route 47 in Yorkville (Route 47 between Route 126 & 71). This is a self-serve area and you will be required to fill and transport your own bags as needed. This is no cost for the sand or sandbags.
