Do you enjoy the gorgeous flower boxes on the Mill Street Bridge each summer? If so, here’s an opportunity to help beautify Montgomery and create the beautiful flower displays for the community to enjoy all summer long.

The Beautification Committee is looking for volunteers to help plant flowers in the flower boxes that line the Mill Street Bridge on Saturday, May 16. Families and flower lovers of all ages are invited to meet in Montgomery Park at the corner of River and Mill Streets at 9:00 a.m. to help with this annual project.

It’s also not too late to sponsor one of these gorgeous flower boxes. Montgomery’s Adopt-a-Box program is a way for residents, families or individuals to remember a loved one or show their Montgomery pride.

For a $25 donation, your family name or message will be printed on a 4” x 22” sign containing a maximum of two lines with 15 characters per line. Signs are placed between flower boxes along the Mill Street Bridge in the spring and taken down in the fall.
