Walmart, Oswego Non-Profit Partner for Donation Drive

The Oswego Walmart store, 2300 Route 34, is hosting a “SIMPLE Giving” donation drive to benefit Celebrate Differences now through March 4.

Shoppers who stop by Walmart are asked to purchase a snack item and place it in a donation bin. All donations will benefit Celebrate Differences, an Oswego organization committed to creating a place for families of children with disabilities to feel a part of a larger, accepting community.

SIMPLE Giving is the result of a partnership between Walmart and Champions for Kids, which aims to make it simple for people to give back to the kids in their community. The SIMPLE Giving program gives shoppers an easy way to donate snacks to local kids.
