Winter Weather Could Complicate Monday Morning Commute

Snow and sleet could make for hazardous travel.

A wintry mix of snow, sleet and light freezing rain is expected to began late Sunday, with light accumulation of snow and ice possible, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS issued a hazardous weather outlook for counties including Will, Kendall and Grundy on Sunday.

Sleet and light freezing rain are expected north of Interstate 80 into early to mid-morning on Monday, and will likely change to rain or drizzle by midday, the NWS said.
