Amy Phillips To Replace Chavez On DuPage County Board

Amy Phillips, of Naperville, will replace Amy Chavez, who resigned in August to move out of state, in representing District 5.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — Amy Phillips, of Naperville, was approved Tuesday to replace Amy Chavez to represent District 5 on the DuPage County board.

Chavez resigned in mid-August, citing an out-of-state move that would allow her husband to purse a job opportunity.

Phillips holds a masters degree in business administration, along with two additional masters degrees. She is currently a member of the Naperville Environment and Sustainability Task Force, where she serves as chairwoman of its committee on natural resources.
