Edward Hospital Named Among Top Hospitals In U.S.: Study

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital in Naperville has been named one of the top 100 hospitals in the U.S. by IBM Watson Health, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. The hospital also received an Everest Award, which is awarded to top-ranking hospitals for fast improvements over the past five years.
Just seven hospitals in Illinois made the nationwide list. They are:
- Advocate Illinois Masonic Center in Chicago
- Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin
- Edward Hospital in Naperville
- Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst
- Evanston Hospital in Evanston
- Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox
- SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia
According to IBM Watson Health, more than 2,600 hospitals throughout the country were included in the study. The top 100 hospitals had:
