Edward Hospital's Coronavirus Inpatient Numbers Increase
The hospital's number of coronavirus inpatients has increased since the start of September.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The number of new coronavirus inpatients at Edward Hospital in Naperville has increased compared to recent weeks, according to information from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. As of Monday, Edward Hospital is treating 17 inpatients with coronavirus.
Five patients who recovered from coronavirus were discharged within the past 72 hours, according to Hartenberger.
The new numbers reflect a noticeable increase in coronavirus patients at Edward Hospital in the past three weeks. As of Sept. 1, there were 10 inpatients with coronavirus in treatment at the hospital.

Since March 24, 549 patients have recovered from coronavirus and been discharged from Edward Hospital, according to Hartenberger. In total, there have been 47 coronavirus-related deaths at the facility.
