Face Masks Now A Must Inside City Buildings In Naperville
Starting Aug. 3, Naperville will require face masks inside its municipal buildings, regardless of a person's vaccination status.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Starting Aug. 3, face masks will be mandatory to visit city buildings in Naperville, regardless of vaccination status. The announcement comes on the heels of an increase in positive coronavirus cases throughout the city, in addition to updated face mask guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Building visitors who are fully vaccinated can remove their masks in public meeting rooms and during city commission and board meetings, as long as they are seated and maintain six feet of social distance from one another.
In late July, DuPage County Health Department announced the county had reached a "substantial" level of coronavirus transmission. Will County reached a "substantial" transmission level for coronavirus around the same time.
