NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police say there is no threat to the community, despite a rumor circulating on social media Wednesday. Officials said in an alert just before 8 p.m. that there was no threat at that time.

Police said they will alert residents "if there is a credible risk to our community."

Naperville was targeted by looters Monday. More than 30 stores were damaged in the looting, which led to 11 arrests, police say.
