Naperville Pimp Convicted Of Sex Trafficking, Faces Life Sentence
Benjamin Biancofiori, 38, was convicted by a jury on 14 of 15 felony counts of sex trafficking.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A self-proclaimed Naperville pimp has been convicted on 14 felony counts of sex trafficking. A federal jury found Benjamin "Beanz" Biancofiori, 38, guilty of using violence and manipulation to force women into sex work for nearly a decade, according to the United State's Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois.
Andrea Gambino, Biancofiori's attorney, had initially tried to get the trial delayed because she felt the #MeToo movement would sway the jury.
Biancofiori used Facebook, Backpage.com, and other social media sites to recruit women and advertise them as prostitutes. During the trial, victims testified that Biancofiori withheld drugs, food, and shelter from the women and collected nearly all of the cash they earned.
