But don't expect to see it flying at City Hall anytime soon.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Th new Naperville flag has been chosen, but don’t expect to see it waving at City Hall anytime soon.
The new flag was unveiled recently at the TEDxNaperville conference, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune. It was designed by Austin Schleich and was chosen from four other flags through an online vote.
Despite the enthusiasm for changing the flag, Naperville Communications Manager Linda LaCloche said it would come with an unplanned for cost.

TEDxNaperville founder Arthur Zards got behind the campaign and invited the students to the conference. But despite not officially becoming the city’s new flag, Zards told the Tribune he'd like to see people flying it.
"I just want to see people flying that flag and for them to know how the flag got there," Zards said in the article.
