One Naperville orthodontist took a break from his busy schedule to show off his dance moves and take part of the online challenge to dance to Drake's "In My Feelings" song. Dr. Tushar Shah got thousands of views for his video, which showed off some pretty impressive moves and brought a smile to lots of Patch readers.

Boy's Life Saved At Centennial Beach In Naperville

The quick action taken by lifeguards at Centennial Beach saved the life of a 13-year-old boy this summer. The boy, who was not breathing when he was pulled from the water, was revived by a lifeguard and paramedics and was eventually responsive when he was taken to the hospital for followup care.

After battling heart failure, a young cheerleader in nearby Downers Grove met her hero, Drake, and underwent a successful heart transplant. This touching video which warmed the hearts of many Naperville, captured the moment Sofia Sanchez, 11, found out she was getting a new heart.

Naperville's former Mayor George Pradel left a lasting impact on the city, which felt a huge loss when the larger than life Pradel died in early September. Pradel, known affectionately as "Officer Friendly," was instrumental in bringing Safety Town to Naperville and received an outpouring of heartfelt dedications from Naperville officials and local residents when he died.
