• Ribbon-Cutting Events Planned For 2 Revamped Playgrounds In Naperville (patch.com) — Families in Naperville can soon check out two freshly renovated playgrounds at Fox Hill Greens and Queensbury Greens, each featuring new climbing and spinning equipment plus expanded picnic areas. The Naperville Park District will host back-to-back ribbon-cutting celebrations with light refreshments on Sept. 15, giving residents an early look at the upgraded spaces.
   

• Benet girls tennis serves up a narrow win over Naperville North (nctv17.org) — Naperville North's girls tennis team dropped a tight 4–3 non-conference match to Benet Academy after a strong showing in singles but struggles in doubles. • American Red Cross to launch Naperville-area blood donation center (nctv17.org) — A new American Red Cross blood donation center is planned for the Naperville area next spring, adding to the organization's network of Illinois sites. While the exact address and opening date aren't set yet, the center is expected to make it easier for local residents to donate blood and help meet ongoing needs for patients statewide and nationwide.
